Powhatan Fastpitch Softball is an IRS registered and designated 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 88-1273071) and contributions are fully tax deductible. It is operated by volunteer personnel in and around the community of Powhatan. 

Powhatan Fastpitch Softball is largely supported through fund-raising, player registration fees, and sponsor contributions and donations. All funds received throughout the year are used to purchase equipment, uniforms, insurance, awards, umpire fees, and to pay additional operating expenses that are necessary to maintain the league.
