Dear Softball Family,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a cherished member of our Powhatan community, Jenny Johnson.

Jenny is a lifelong Powhatan resident, a devoted mother, and a beloved teacher who has positively impacted countless lives through her years of service in the classroom. She is known throughout our community for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support of others.

Today, Jenny is facing one of her most difficult challenges—a second courageous battle against cancer. Despite the physical and emotional toll, she continues to show incredible strength and grace, inspiring all who know her.

As Jenny and her family navigate this difficult time, we are asking for the support of local the community to help ease the burden. We are seeking donations of gift cards to local restaurants in Powhatan, establishments in Westchester Commons, or DoorDash. These will go directly to Jenny and her family to help with meals and everyday needs as they focus on her treatment and recovery.

Any contribution, big or small, would make a meaningful difference and show Jenny that the community she has so faithfully served stands with her now.
